Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town, South African on 2 December 1981. She is an actress/model popular for her work in TV and film. Brandt had her American debut on Spartacus: Blood and Sand, a historical drama. She started her acting career as a New Zealander through Diplomatic Immunity. The actress appeared on many television series during the past ten years, such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Brandt is the character Mazikeen on the show about urban fantasies Lucifer that stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was brought up in Cape Town South Africa and after that, she moved to Auckland New Zealand with her family during her teenage years. The actress began her career as a model by appearing in commercials and print ads. Before becoming a famous model, Brandt worked as an employee of a salesperson in retail and an expert in recruitment for the information technology industry. In 2009, she secured her debut role as Leilani for the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. In 2021, she made her first major appearance in Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She played the slave girl Naevia. The character of Naevia was recast in the Spartacus sequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three separate TV shows such as Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she was cast as the role of a bounty hunter named Mazikeen in Lucifer, the Netflix successful show Lucifer. It is her largest role to date. In the series, she stars with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
